Energise the Self
Prophet Mohammad has stated that, "The heart of the seeker is unattached and therein Shines a light" (Sacred Sayings, pp 120). If we look at modern society today, we have been programmed in a way to constantly seek goals and achievements that stem from outside of ourselves, thinking that once obtained we will achieve a state of peace and satisfaction. Unfortunately the opposite is true. True peace and satisfaction occurs when we discover the unlimited potential that exists within our being and the moment when we learn to be in the present moment.
The M.T.O. School of Sufism teaches its students to attain the source of energy in the heart which can only be activated with awareness and by letting go of all attachments from the heart.

Professor Nader Angha has stated that, "It is like a man walking with a heavy bag of rocks on his back. Once he takes the bag off and leaves it on the ground, the weight no longer slows him down."
In accordance with meditation exercises that give us the opportunity to understand our body's energy centres, dietary intake, an ever present heart with the presence of a spiritual teacher, the seeker begins to grasp the true meaning of “energy”. It is reflected in every aspect of one's life from studying, to relationships, careers, wealth and most importantly the ability to find the stamina and endurance to continue the path to self discovery and self love
